Running a node has very little impact on your everyday internet use. Most of the time you won’t notice any difference.
Bandwidth usage – Your node only shares spare bandwidth. If you’re gaming, streaming, or downloading, your own traffic always takes priority.
Speed – In rare cases, you might notice a small slowdown. If that happens, you can pause or stop your node at any time.
Data limits – If your ISP has a strict data cap, remember that running a node will contribute to your monthly usage.
Controls – You’re always in full control of your node. You can decide when to keep it running and when to switch it off.
For most home setups, running a node won’t interfere with your regular internet activities.
