Multiple nodes on a single IP address

You can only run one MystNodes per public IP address.

Trying to run more than one on the same IP won’t work and can cause problems like reduced stability and no earnings from the extra nodes.

Why it doesn’t work

Each node needs its own unique public IP. Unless you have multiple routers (each with a different IP), running more than one node on the same connection isn’t possible.

What happens if you try?

  • Only one node will be accepted by the network

  • Any extra nodes will show as offline on mystnodes.com

  • No traffic will pass through the additional nodes → no rewards earned

Best practice

If you want to run multiple nodes, make sure each one has its own public IP. This usually means:

  • Using separate routers with different WAN IPs

  • Hosting nodes in different locations

  • Or using cloud providers that give you unique IPs
