Having trouble showing your Mysterium node as online? You're not alone - and it can be difficult to know where to start when it comes to solving issues. Before you contact support, here are a few troubleshooting steps to try.
1. Check if Node is Running
Make sure Node is running for at least 15-30 minutes.
2. Check NodeUI
Use NodeUI to confirm that your node is online. You can find NodeUI at the IP address of your node, followed by 4449. For example, if the IP of your node is 192.128.35.18, try navigating to 192.128.35.18:4449. If your Node isn't ONLINE, you can try restarting your node or host machine running it and checking again.
3. Verify Node Identity
You can check if your node's identity is listed in the Discovery service by using the link https://discovery.mysterium.network/api/v3/proposals?include_monitoring_failed=true&provider_id=[node-identity]. If it loads your Node's info, then it means it's available to VPN consumers.
4. Check if you are not trying to run multiple nodes on a single IP
Running multiple nodes on a single IP address would not work. Please refer to the following article for more information.
5. Be aware of NAT status.
A NAT status that is not Open or Moderate can cause your Node to be offline. Please check this article for more information about NAT statuses. A double NAT can also cause this issue.
If none of the above steps solve the issue, please contact our support team at [email protected]. Give a clear description of which steps failed, and also include your Node's identity, version and OS for troubleshooting.
